Exam Schedule...not the same as elementary school

Although sixth-graders do NOT take semester exams, they will be taking their six-weeks tests following the exam schedule.  Notice that students do not go to all classes every day.  They need to use the 1/2 days to study and prepare for their tests.

Monday 12/17         Full day.  Regular schedule (most classes will be reviewing)

Tuesday 12/18         Full day.  Modified Bell Schedule. 
                                              NO TUTORIALS
                                              1st thru 4th period are normal. 
                                              5th & 6th periods will be shortened (about 25-30 min). 
                                              7th period test will be given (about 1 hr and 20 min)

Wednesday 12/19    Half day.  NO TUTORIALS
                                                1st period test (about 1 1/2 hrs)
                                                2nd period test (about 1 1/2 hrs)
                                                Dismiss at 11:30  (no lunch)

Thursday 12/20       Half day.   NO TUTORIALS
                                               Students go directly to 3rd period.

NEW TUTORIAL SCHEDULE

Wanted to give parents notice that due to a change in Mr. Williams's schedule, he will not be available to tutor BEFORE or AFTER school. 

Do NOT send students to tutorials before school on TUESDAYS!!!!
Mrs. Rebeles will be here for the Thursday afternoon tutorials in Room 2105. 

After the Winter Holiday break, we will have a NEW tutorial schedule.  Watch the BLOG and/or your teacher's webpage.  Students will receive a new tutorial hall pass.

Review 3.1 for PAP 6/7 and GT students:

Unit 1 Test for the 3rd Six Weeks is on Tuesday, Nov. 20...the day before Thanksgiving Break. 
Students should study the review, worksheets, workbook, quizzes, and use the on-line textbook.  Remember that the on-line textbook has practice quizzes and video tutorials to help you practice for the test.  Remember that the on-line book is also a book of math problems.  Flip through the pages and do some extra practice.

I would also recommend practicing some Percent of Number questions as well!!! HINT HINT

#3 should be 24...not 48 !!!!
